Dear Friend,

Mother’s Day is coming. This reminds me of my wonderful teacher in 4th grade. One day before the special day, she asked the whole class a very important question, “What is a mother to you?”

We were silent. Everybody was definitely having something in mind. I had one myself.

Then she told us, “Write a 5-word answer in a piece of paper.”

We did what she told us. The day after Mother’s Day, we were all asked to tell what we wrote and how our mother reacted on our writing. It was fun. But I wonder if their answers are still the same up ‘til now…

What about you, have you ever been asked the question so far? ”WHAT IS A MOTHER TO YOU?”

Every year, on Mother’s Day, I take a moment to see if my answer of the question posed by the teacher has changed. But then after I was a mother myself, I realized that I felt more love for her after my giving birth to my son.

But, what about the men? They can’t be a mother first to feel the love towards their mother…I wonder what they have in mind when they hear the magic word, MOTHER.

Some people’s thought of a mother’s existence differs from one another. The range is quite wide.

I discussed this with my fellow editors. I asked them the question. Yes, their answers were so various yet such a little number for the real one. So, all of us here in InsParenting.com would like to know more from other people.
